About CoolStylishName

CoolStylishName turns a plain name into 350+ Unicode styles, and tells you which of them will actually survive the field you paste them into. The second half is the part most name generators leave out.

Who We Are

This site is written and built by Kunal Bansal — the copy on every page, the engine that maps letters to Unicode characters, and the compatibility data behind the character limits. It is not a content farm reprinting the same list of fonts under a different heading.

That single-author setup is why the pages read consistently and why the numbers on them agree with each other. Character limits live in one file that both the visible page and its structured data read from, so a limit cannot say 30 in the text and 25 in the markup.

Our Story

The site started from a specific frustration: every stylish name tool hands you a decorated name, and none of them tell you whether it will work. You paste it into an Instagram @username and it is rejected. You paste it into Free Fire and the game refuses it for length. You paste it into a friend's phone and it arrives as a row of empty boxes.

Reading the pages that rank for these searches made the gap concrete. Across the Snapchat, Telegram and X results, not one page states the character limit of the field it is telling you to paste into. None of them explain font fallback — the reason a name shows as ☐ on someone else's device. The names were everywhere; the answers were nowhere.

So the tool was built around the missing half, by the person who writes and maintains it. Every limit here comes from the platform's own published rules and is corrected the same day a rule changes. Where a platform publishes nothing — Telegram never states a length for its name fields — this site says so rather than repeating a number other sites invented.

What We Offer

  • 350+ styles from 57+ fonts. 115,000+ decorated combinations and 114 copyable symbols, generated as you type.
  • A character counter that does not lie. Counts use the stricter of the two ways a field can measure text, so a name marked as fitting will not be refused for length.
  • Verified limits, or none at all. Every number is checked against the platform's own documentation. Nothing is written from memory.
  • 120 ready-made names per page. On every mood, platform and game page, so the site is useful before you type anything.
  • Nothing leaves your browser. Names are styled locally in JavaScript. There is no account, no upload and no record of what you generate.
  • The homepage in 18 languages, with no ads, no sign-up wall and no generation limit.

Everything above exists to serve one page: the generator this site is built around. If a style is missing or a limit looks wrong, the tell us on the contact page is the fastest way to reach us — a corrected limit is worth more to this site than a new font.
