The names you generate are yours. Use them anywhere, including commercially, with no attribution and no licence fee. Unicode characters are not ours to own, and we claim nothing over what you make with them.
1. What this service is
CoolStylishName is a free tool that converts text you type into Unicode characters that look like decorative fonts. It runs in your browser, requires no account, and places no limit on how many names you generate or copy.
2. What you may do with the output
Anything. Put a generated name in a profile, a video, a logo, a client's brand or a product you sell. The characters are part of the Unicode standard and are not our property, so there is nothing here for us to license to you.
3. What we ask of you
- Do not use the tool to impersonate a person or organisation.
- Do not use it to build a name that harasses, deceives or targets someone.
- Do not scrape or automate the site in a way that degrades it for other people.
- Follow the rules of wherever you paste the name — those rules are theirs, not ours.
4. Accuracy, and its limits
Character limits and field rules on this site are checked against each platform's own published documentation and dated on the page where they appear. Platforms change their rules without notice, so a figure that was correct when published can go out of date. Verify anything you are about to spend money on — a rename card or in-game currency — in the app itself before you commit.
If you find a limit that is wrong, tell us through the report it through contact. Corrections are treated as bugs.
5. Our content, as distinct from your names
The names you generate are yours; the writing on this site is not. The guides, FAQ answers, compatibility tables, verified character limits and the design of these pages are ours, and republishing them — in whole, in part, or reworded — is not permitted without permission.
Quoting a limit and linking here is fine, and welcome. Copying a page is not.
6. Advertising and third-party links
This site may display advertising supplied by third parties, and may link to sites we do not run. Advertisements are selected by the advertising network rather than chosen by us, and their presence is not an endorsement of the product or the advertiser.
Anything you do on a linked or advertised site is governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy, not by these. What advertising cookies collect, and how to opt out of personalised advertising, is set out in the privacy policy.
7. Availability
The site is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uptime. It is free, maintained by one person, and may be unavailable during changes. Nothing you rely on should depend on it being reachable at a particular moment.
8. Liability
We are not liable for what happens after you copy a name: a rejected username, a rename card spent on a name a game refused, or a name that displayed as boxes on someone else's device. Those outcomes are governed by the platform you pasted into. This is a free tool, and your remedy for a problem with it is to stop using it.
9. Privacy
The names you type are processed in your browser by the free name generator and never sent to us. The what this site does and does not receive sets out exactly what the site does and does not receive.
10. Changes
These terms may change. The date above tracks the last revision, and continuing to use the site after a change means the revised terms apply. Questions go to [email protected].
