Author CoolStylishName

Kunal Bansal

I write the pages on CoolStylishName and build the engine behind them. That covers the copy you read, the Unicode style list, and the checks that keep the character limits on this site accurate.

01 What I do

Writing and building

Writing. Every page of copy on this site, including the homepage guide, the FAQ answers and every category page on the site.
Building. The name engine that maps letters to Unicode characters, the style list, and the compatibility data behind the limits table.

02 Method

How I write these pages

Three rules decide what goes on a page here:

01

Numbers get verified, not remembered

Character limits come from each platform's own published rules, and are corrected the same day a platform changes one. A number I cannot check does not go on the page.

02

Coverage is measured, not guessed

Topics are chosen by comparing this page against the pages already ranking for the same search, then filling what is genuinely missing — not by padding word count.

03

Limits are stated plainly

Where a stylish name does not work — @username fields, Facebook profile names, tight in-game limits — the page says so instead of claiming it works everywhere.

03 Feedback

Corrections and questions

Platforms change their rules, and a limit that was right last month can be wrong today. If something on this site is out of date or simply wrong, tell me and I will fix the page — send a correction. Everything I check ends up in the stylish name generator itself, so a corrected limit shows on the counter the same day.
